How we earn

Some of the links on this site — typically the “Get this card” buttons — are affiliate links. If you click one and go on to sign up for a card, the provider may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and in many cases you get the same or a better deal than going direct.

What this does not change

• Our scores. A card’s rating is set by our methodology, not by whether it pays a commission.
• Our rankings. We do not sell placement. A card cannot buy its way up the list.
• What we include. We cover cards on their merits, including ones that pay us nothing.

Why we disclose this

Transparency is part of being trustworthy on money topics, and clear disclosure is required by consumer-protection rules such as the U.S. FTC guidelines. Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored" and do not pass ranking credit.
