Editorial Policy

This policy sets out how CryptoCardScout researches, writes and maintains its content. It applies to every card profile, comparison and guide on the site.

Independence

Our rankings and scores are editorial decisions. No company can pay to appear, to rank higher, or to change its score. We do earn affiliate commissions from some card providers (see our affiliate disclosure), but commercial relationships are kept entirely separate from how we rate cards.

Sourcing and verification

• Card data — fees, rewards, availability, terms — is taken from the issuer’s own documentation and fee schedules.
• Every card shows the date its data was last verified. Where a detail cannot be confirmed, the card is marked as being verified rather than presented as fact.
• We do not publish specific figures we cannot source.

How scores are set

Scores follow the fixed, weighted rubric described in How We Rate. The same criteria are applied to every card.

Accuracy and corrections

Crypto card terms change frequently, and mistakes can happen. If you believe something is inaccurate or out of date, let us know and we will re-check it against the source and correct it promptly. Material corrections are reflected in the card’s updated “verified” date.

Updates

Cards are re-reviewed on a rolling basis so the database stays current. New cards are added as they launch; discontinued cards are marked or removed.
